ST. MARY'S CHURCH, EALING

GRADE 1     Restoration & new build

St Mary’s is one of S. S. Teulon's finest surviving churches. We took over a controversial reordering scheme in advance of a Consistory Court hearing and played a central role in the successful negotiations with the objectors before developing and detailed the final scheme. The project included a new stone floor with underfloor heating, the replacement of fixed pews with benches, a new Nave platform, ramps and accessibility improvements. The heating, lighting and sound systems were completely replaced. A central part of the project was the research and design of a new decorative scheme, based on Teulon's work. External and internal repairs were also undertaken.  The completed project has revitalised the work of the church and attendances have continued to grow.
