V & A MUSEUM

KNIGHTSBRIDGE LONDON

We have been involved in a number of projects at the Victoria and Albert Museum.

Our work to re-display the National Silver Collection within the old ceramic galleries, is located in the oldest part of the Museum. The project involved the removal of inappropriate alterations and the repair and restoration of lost decorative features including the reconstructed ceiling. A new decorative dado carried improved heating and side showcases. New study areas with hands-on and interactive learning tools were also created. New services including heating, lighting, emergency and security installations. This was all accomplished within an operational museum.

More recently we  have carried out a full condition survey with proposals for adapting and upgrading the extensive glazed roof-lights over the cast galleries.
